Hello all, its been 3 months since my last post, lol. An update of my tank is that I traded the "pool filter" fluval FX5 for a CPR Aquatics HOB Refugium w/ PS. It is the largest one, 28 in. I have 6700K fuge light, MJ1200 pump, air pump into a hydor bubble diffuser for the skimmer. 1.5 inches of sand, LR rubble and cheado. My yashia goby is in there now but I was thinking of putting cleaner shrimp in to reproduce to feed the tank. Will this drastically effect my copepod population? ...
This is the final entry regarding the city of Basel. The night before we left town, we went to Circus Knie. Again, your seating was predetermined when purchasing tickets. And it started right on time. It was nice to see the animals and the gymnasts do their stunts, but my swiss-german wasn't up to speed to the point that I could follow some of the running jokes regarding the feud between Zurich and Basel residents. Finally took some pics with the whites on as well. I'm going with less light during the day while I fight off the GHA (which I'm beating, it's in retreat), so my whites are only on for 4 hours. That means they're off by 5pm, so they're usually off by my free time after supper in the evenings. I'm beating GHA the old fashion way. Shortened/reduced photo period (meaning the photo-period is shorter, and I'm using less lights during that shorter period), and reduced feeding. Good chaeto ...

ok, so here is the start of what i promised. im gonna start with the sump. yes, most will probably laughg, but i just recently finished doing a 10 gallon sump on her 20 gallon tank. ha ha. well, the whole reason behind it is that our tanks are only to prepare for the future. eventually we are going to have something in the neighborhood of a 150 gallon. so... this is all a learning curve/ frag spree. we are growing corals for the big tank, learning what brands, fish, corals we like, and figuring ...
