  1. Marco Rocks

I see on the left in the Facebook box a comment about Marco Rocks. I just checked out their website and their prices are WAY better than what any of the LFS have near me. Has anyone bought anything from them? If so was the quality good?

Just a quick little update. Tibet passed her water with no issues.

We've been battling with the city about our electrical and water meters for almost 7 months now. They are trying to force meter moves to locations that are convient for them in our house, but not logical for living, or re-sale in the future. Its been annoying, tedious, and easily equatable to teeth pulling. Pretty much we've been waiting for someone at the city to realize that there is no logic in moving meters into ...

  3. I've been impulsive and bad lately.

For some reason, I can't seem to get enough fish for my tank, but I'm putting my foot down and stopping the madness.

Two weeks ago, I added the 30 Chromis plus the two little clowns you saw in my frag tank. Then last Friday I received 19 fish from ORA that I acclimated directly into my tank since I had to fly out to SoCal for Reefapalooza. I couldn't expect my tank sitter to care for them in a small cube holding 14g of water with no active filtration.

    Then yesterday ...

  4. Jessy's Candyshop Cubed - Tank Update

Hi all, I know its been a long time since I've posted anything about my tank on here, so here it goes. I basically ignored my tank for about 4 months due to travel/work/laziness etc. I didn't do anything, dose, water change...just fed the fish once a day. So obviously my corals took a downturn. I lost my good acan colony and my big prism favia is on the rocks. Before RAP last weekend I did a 60-70% water change in hopes of bringing home things to not such a toxic environment.

    I got ...

  5. Carbon dosing and low PH Help

    Hi everyone,

Recently I have been having some problems with my tank. My nitrates were on the rise, they ended up getting to 40 ppm, I did constant large water changes and started using bio pellets but things just got worse. Since then I removed the bio pelltets and went back to basics. I ended up discovering that my sand bed was the cause of my nitrate problems. Slowly I removed my sand bed and after all of it was gone my nitrates have fallen to below 10ppm.

    I also have ...
