I was heading back home (Cleveland) on Black Friday from a family gathering in Toledo. Of course I had to stop by the Salty Critter (Vermilion, OH) as they were having a very nice sale. I spotted this gold chalice and I had to pull the trigger. It really pops under the blue/royal blue LED's. Now the pressure is on to keep it alive and colorful!
I decided to upgrade my nano to one step up. I had a few requirements: 1. Not too big. 42 x 24 X 20 2. Had to blend into existing house and furniture. Today I did a bit of work, cleaned the GHA up from the bad RO water I got from a lfs (got my RO/DI unit ordered now), cleaned out my reactor and replaced my chemi-pure elite and purigen. Also grabbed a few frags from Tony (Grimreefer on DFWMAS)... of course they were more like mini-colonies. Tony always exceeds expectations... always. Really loving the tank... and I'm starting to truly run out of room. I keep saying I'm out of space, but I never truly am. I'm guessing I could fit a few more ...
