    So previously I posted only about my past tanks, I’m now going to bring everyone up to speed with where I am now and a bit of the process getting here
    So about I year ago when I faced a major leakage problem I was faced with the decision to upgrade, I had just bought a vertex IN80 skimmer and on my 20gal it was going a great job I didn’t want to have to buy a new skimmer so that limited me to about 80gallons, I also didn’t want to have to buy new lighting so I was stuck with roughly a 24” ...

  3. Tank Update

    I tried this new food from marine depot that says color enhancing and my Hippo tang is is the brightest I have ever seen it you ant see it good in the picture but but it really pops from across the room.

    talking about food. My columbian shark which I had in my previous freshwater tank eats about a full jar of formula one per month. I feed him the medium pellets because he doesn't even notice the other food.

  4. Not just for Clean up Crew any more

    The Cube of Fun is no longer just an exclusive hangout for clean-up-crew members only. Keep in mind, even though I just recently started posting, the tank has been up for over 8 weeks and has cycled.

  5. My Saltwater Mixing Station (Part 2)

    Check out Part 1 in case you missed it.

    I wrapped up the plumbing for my water mixing station this weekend.

    The first thing I did was install the Uniseal on the top barrel for storing RO/DI water. Installing the Uniseal was tough but I learned a trick is to either use warm soapy water or your favorite water based lubricant. I'll let you guess which one I used but it was a lot easier than just trying to jam the PVC through the Uniseal.
