Hello everyone.... Replaced my T5's (had 4 over my tank) I had over my tank... with Corallife (4)T5 HO w/ lunar lights just looking for how long I should run the lights after I have them up to "full time use" right now I have them at 2 hours each day only had the light for a few days. My tank has mostly LPS and softyies and 2 SPS corals. Thanks for the info. Chris
I've had this coral for about 3 months and it was doing great. I fragged a piece off and it was doing good in my tank too. In the lastfew days I've noticed that it started to slump over and it's stopped opening up. This morning I found it like this. I tested my water and everything is fine; pH is within range, ammonia is 0, nitrite is 0, nitrate close to none, and phosphate is 0. On February 6th of this year, I started running 2 liters of Vertex biopellets in my system, and over that 7.5 month period I was able to maintain zero nitrate and zero phosphate. Granted, my system has a DSB, live rock, a skimmer and a refugium, but so did my 280g reef. I've not had to dose Phosphate Control nor use GFO once with the new tank. And no vodka dosing either.
