I picked up a used RS-180 today with an Ehiem 1262 pump on it, and it appears that the pump might be bad. I only paid $100 for skimmer and pump so not too upset but hoping it can be fixed. It pumps but not strong enough water will not rise fully up the skimmer body. It only goes to the gate valve adjustment tube. It does not flow out the top of the gate valve with the neck removed and valve opened or closed. Any thoughts?

I have to admit it, I'm a bit frustrated. We picked up our new tank how long ago? About two months ago, that's when. And how much is actually done as far as getting the new setup going?
