I have offically canceled my reef central account. After almost a month of sending emails to get a club thread for the rhode island reef society and getting no response, I'm done.
I'm looking to start breeding cardinal fish. Has anyone here ever done this successfully? I'm looking for good setup ideas(ie how many tanks, lighting, additives, and any other equipment). My goal is to breed and record my experiences. Hopefully we as hobbyists can make an impact in the collection of wild fish. To allow the reefs to rebuild and replenish itself. Tank raised fish are better kept and can be raised to eat man made foods allowing a greater varity of reef fish that we can keep and raise ...

Well this past weekend was the final push with finishing everything up on my new 75g reef ready tank. I'd like to say it went off without a hitch, but frankly it didn't, and I've had some losses since I started moving everything christmas weekend. Long story short, I should have given it a bit more time to cycle, or only moved 1 fish over at a time instead of all 4 from my 29g, as I had a small (1.0ppm at it's highest) nitrite only spike. Today, the package from EzTube arrived. I'll be able to get the light rack built soon, as well as install its suspension kit above. Now that Savko is open for business again, I placed my order for all my plumbing needs. I still need to find 10' of 1.5" black spaflex, if any of you happen to have a source. They were all out.
