    Well, I finally finished installing the snapper pump. I learned a few things along the way and I'll try to give you as unbiased account as I can here.

    Tank lighting is completed. I have installed my new acrylic LED lighting and power supply mounts. Attachment to the tank was by small oak blocks with stainless bolts and wing nuts for easy removal. The lighting power supply fixture was installed beneath the tank, on the inside of the cabinet.     So two part dosing was just becoming a lil too much for me. i was dosing too much and always forgot or did it at different times. i was also having problems with low PH(6.9-7.4) throught out the day. so after trying co2 scrubbers and other things i decided a Kalk reactor would be choice for my system.

    I got this new tang. His name is BillyBob (no I didn't name him), and he is awesome. He has some evidence of hard living, a scared face. He has a wonderful personality though, and really active all the time so I'm thrilled. He came from a wonderfully spoiled home and I hope that he is happy in his new permanent home soon.
