I have questions that need answers.
I just finished getting my RODI filter set up in my basement. The water is stored in a 40 gallon Rubbermaid Brute garbage can. I have a submersible utility pump feeding a hose to transfer the water up to the main floor with a valve at the end. My question is regarding the brass fitting on the end of the hose. It is attatched to the pump under the water and my intent was to leave the pump set up in the tank but I am wondering if the brass fitting will be an issue. ...
So I finally got my ro-di filter set up after the Christmas rush and am now ready to start using the water for top ups and water Changes... my Question is how long should I take to change the tank water to ro-di mix. Thanx Kitch40
Hello everyone, Looking to replace my 4 T5 HO coral life bulbs. Just don't like the look of them tank just doesn't pop . I was thinking of either using giesemann powercrome bulbs or ATI bulbs. My tank has mainly softies and LPS and a couple SPS. Right now kind of thinking of use the giesemann bulbs but unsure what combo of bulbs was thinking of something like this 2-aquablue + bulbs and 1-actinic + and 1-pure actinic. thoughts?? Thanks for the info Chris
Hello, I'm looking purchase one of these three protein skimmers. I have a 90gal. with medium bio-load. I do tend to over feed a little. 1. Reef octopus 4 2. SWC extreme 160 cone 3. Bubble Magus BM-NAC7 cone. Which one is the easiest to adjust and does one last longer than the other as far as the pump goes. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks.
