  2. sps update (no pictures sorry)

Just a quick update on the current status of my tank and newest attempt at acropora as well as an update on a couple of others. Fist off I am excited to say that it appears I seem to be getting some new growth at the tips of my acropora and also I seem to have some very nice coloration changes in the new growth on the tips. All of the polyps are very open and eager at all times.

I am currently still dosing prodiobio, digest, and reefbooster every two weeks and I am target feeding the ...

  4. Rod's Food arrived

I just got a shipment of Rod's Food delivered today. An hour and a half later, I started brewing some coffee to start my day and fired up the Nikon.

Rod's special packaging is almost magical. When you open up the box, all you have is frozen food, with no trace of the dry ice.

  5. Pico (De Gallo) Lessons Learned

I let the tank run for about 5 days and didn't see anything being picking up on the tests, at the LFS.
So I decided to pick up some fish..
A Little Cherub Angelfish, approx. 1.5" and a Yellow Watchman Goby, approx. 1" and a Candy Cane Pistol Shrimp.

The first night the Cherub found a hiding spot and went to sleep. Nothing to worry about there.

But the Yellow Watchman constantly tried to jump. Thankfully the tank came with a glass cover and he was ...
