For years, I've used wrapping paper containers to hold 20g of RO/DI water for my reef's evaporated needs. With the new tank, I decided it would be sexier to put a custom-made acrylic vessel under the tank. I measured twice, opting to use every inch at my disposal, and proceeded to build it. I'm alive, and so is Tibet. I've just been disgustingly busy lately and its not been favorable for the tank. Just a quick update with some camera shots to keep the build alive. I've got a SCWD new in the box that's been sitting around for a few years. I've always been afraid to use it since i had hair algae problems and was afraid it would clog up continually. Well, the Algae problems are a thing of the past, so I'm dusting it off. My Tank is a 50 long, mixed reef. Any idea what pump rating I should go with? I'm thinking around 1,000 gph.
