  3. Pics of my 180 gallon build

    I have been neglecting my build thread on here because I have been so busy! First with the winter season making my business pick up, then MACNA (WHICH RULED!!!), then family reunions and all kinds of crazy nonesense. Unfortunately, this also means that I have been neglecting my 180 gallons build . But the last two nights have been filled with work and setting the tank up.   4. 150 Reef Re-build Project - The Teardown

    I have a 150 Gallon Reef tank with what I think is old tank syndrome. This tank has been up and running for 10 years with the same sand bed with a plenum. Now I learned at MACNA that there is no such thing as old tank syndrome but instead it is old lazy aquarist syndrome. (according to Joe Yaiullo) Either way I had to do something and a tear-down was what I decided.I was curious to find out what things looked like under the plenum.

    I got this new tang. His name is BillyBob (no I didn't name him), and he is awesome. He has some evidence of hard living, a scared face. He has a wonderful personality though, and really active all the time so I'm thrilled. He came from a wonderfully spoiled home and I hope that he is happy in his new permanent home soon. He changed colours a few days after I got him for about 5 minutes, it was really mesmerizing and stunning to watch. Apologies on the "phone quality" it was one of those, ...
