Tank Entry

Well let me first start things by saying that I am not new in the aquarium hobby. I have been into the hobby on and off for about 6 years now and I am in the process of saving for my own home which may take about a year or two so I can't really justify starting a project on a huge reef aquarium (my ultimate goal is at minimum a 400 gallon reef aquarium). I purchased a small Fluval Chi 5.5 gallon aquarium for one of my sons which I soon found out was not the best decision I could have made for ...

Come on Reef Addicts, let's see ya FTS for June! I've been having a lot on my mind lately and almost forgot to post. I will post my pick later tonight or tomorrow.

EVERYONE TRY AND PARTICIPATE!!! We all like Eye Candy!

I really like LPS corals and find their look to be both fluid and colorful under the right lighting. The bommie section of my tank has a variety of LPS, and when the MH turns off over them, the adjacent MH (to their left) coupled with the VHO actinics gives them an interesting glow every evening from 7pm forward.

I've been absent for the past week or so because my family was in town. Now that things are back to normal, I thought I'd share a few images and update on how the 400g is progressing.

First off, I have to report a couple of losses. The Gudgeon Goby that I've had for the past 3 years was seen blowing around the tank last week. I don't know why it died.
