Starting over with my tank!

Water Pumping Power!

Rate this Entry
My wife brought me home something I've been debating on. I've checked out the new Knoralia Evolution pumps and the Tunze pumps in the recent weeks. Finally selecting the Koralia for their power for the price. I selected the Koralia Evolution 1400 gph pumps.

When I first put them in the tank and plugged them in they had some serious stirring going on. I had to adjust them so at least the sand wasn't blowing all over. The fish seems to like them, they play in the turbulance. Most of my Kenya Tree coral went night night, I had to adjust the flow to them. One of my GSP corals were funny looking; the centers expanded. Again, had to adjust directions. All in all, I love them-got flow now!

Ty Midnight and Jaxom! I have a Koralia 2, but these things really rock. I think that I could have got by with one. But, I was get'n while the get'n was good! ;-p. All the corals opened up again, except for the mushrooms. They are still wondering what the heck happened. Haha
