The banded Serpent Starfish was out last night. Usually it likes to take forage in the LPS dominated bommie of my reef.

    Does one that size eat many of your smaller fish?

    This doesn't eat fish. It's a serpent starfish. Great detrivore. I have six starfish in my reef.

    Sorry, looked on wetwebmedia to refresh my memory and I was thinking of the Green Brittle Star.

    Right. That's a starfish I won't keep for that very reason.
