    OK so i havent posted in ages about my upgrade for a # of reasons, busy, tired, and doubts about going foward after my 2 tanks crashed a few months back, all my fish lived thousands of dollars of corals died that really really put a damper on the upgrade and i just let the 265 sit in place for a while, i finished the drains from the tank to the basement into the 150 gallon rubbermaid into 2 JBJ filter socks. The return is 1 REEFLO GOLD HAMMERHEAD pumping up and into 2 1.5" NEW SEA SWIRLS located ...

    THANKS FELLA'S LOL Midnight to answer your question yes the standard 265rr tank made by marineland only comes with 4 1" holes, now the drains they provide you are 1 1/2" but have a reduce at the bottom so technically it is what it is lol, that is why im going to use all 4 1 inch holes as drains, and it looks like both holes in each box will fit the 2 overflow drains in each box, havent gotten to check it out yet, but i believe there is room for this, so today i pretty much got most of ...

    Current tanks
    120 gallon reef ready half circle - contents of tank mixed reef/fish/live rock
    55 gallon reef ready - contents of tank mixed reef/fish/live rock

    Upgrading both tanks into the brand new Marineland 265 gallon reef ready tank with the monterey stand in black. This is going to be a long drawn out blog, im warning you now lol.
