Tunze makes the Nano DOC Skimmer which would fit in the right rear compartment if I didn't have other equipment in there. Unfortunately the compartment on the left only goes down about 5 or 6 inches which prevents me from placing much in there. Hence the reason I'm looking at the Reef Octopus BH-1000 Hang On Back Skimmer.

This particular unit runs about $120.00 plus tax and you can get it shipped for free if you have Amazon Prime from Amazon.com. They have another unit which is 1500 Watts which runs about $189.00. But the beauty of these units is the ability to daisy chain them to each other to increase the overall run time. So I am eventually going to purchase 3 more.

Thank you. I definitely tried staying away from the hobby but urge to come back was just too much for me to resist. I decided to go with the Pico because I wanted to be able to afford all the equipment that I think was necessary without breaking the bank while saving for our home. Once we have the home we can go big, but for now I want to be able to do it right. As for the live rock I am currently weighing my options. I'm going to purchase fully cured live rock but I haven't decided on what type and how much. So I will concentrate on other aspects of the build for the time being.

    I don't hate it.

Actually, I think it looks nice and will tide you over for a while. Thanks for posting on RA.

The trick about nudibranchs is providing their dietary requirement. If you don't have what it eats, odds of survival is slim. You may need to peruse some nudi-databases to find what you have. Once you find out, you can determine what it eats.

That photograph doesn't show it but he has two of what look like rabbit ears on the front of his head.

the top and bottom look to be millepora to me, millepora typically look "hairy" in that their polyps are longer than what you see on a typical acropora.
