Pretty sure that's Brooklynella. Formalin in a hospital tank and FAST...

It looks like Marine Velvet to me. That little guy looks tattered on his fins too. A hospital tank would be best to help it with medication, and you may have to do so with all the fish. I'll see if I can get you more help.

Bristleworms are part of the clean up crew, and are not predatory like you might imagine. And going through the algae phase is part of a new tank. That's why it takes about nine months for a tank to mature to really hit its stride. Taking out the rock to clean it up will prolong the process, which will likely repeat.

Instead, look at your water quality for NO3 and PO4 and reduce these if possible. Make sure your top off water is pure, and reducing your lighting period some if it runs too long. Manually clean your tank or get a bunch of hungry snails to help tidy things up.

That's the beginning of a beautiful story.

I have a lot of those boxes. And a few alternatives.

Thank you, I came up with the copyright idea just this evening and thought well that is cool. The key that I am aiming for is stability. Plus I was getting tired filling up cups of water and refilling the aquarium both morning and night.

That is pretty much similar to me. The surgeon said that I was such a mess inside that if I waited until the morning I most likely would have died in my sleep. I have a wife and 3 small boys so that rattle my bones a bit. But the surgeon did an amazing job and I owe my life to my wife for being a hypochondriac and the surgeon for being so talented. I'm trying not to overdo it but I can't seem to keep off the aquarium. LOL

Thank you Melev. With each passing day I feel better but I'm grounded from going to work for another two weeks. But hopefully I can start working remotely from home. But being home is not so bad. I get to work on my aquarium. But the surgeon said it was so bad inside that the 1 hour operation took 3 to clean me up and I also lost a small piece of my small intestine.

They didn't have any in stock and because of my recent emergency surgery I can't really stay out walking around too long. So I settled for this solutions temporarily. But the main cable is also ziptied to the airline cable at two additional points and the main cable is also gripped at two additional points underneath the shelf using cable guides.

Thank you. She definitely is. She is being surprisingly good at letting me purchase all the goodies I need for the aquarium.

LiveAquaria has an excellent reputation for online livestock purchases, and even better via Diver's Den.
