@ Marc, here is pic of the wood burning stove that I will be taking out.
Thanks Hat! The one nice thing is that I there are some things that I learned for the last build that I use in this one. Looking forward to getting started. Will probably get started sometime after MACNA. We will see!
Well congrats on the new house! Just when you think ya done ya have to start over. Well at least half the fun in this hobby is putting it all together. Can't wait to see the progress on this build!
This is going to be a slow project. I'll get a picture of a the wood burning stove tonight. I am kind of sick of having display tanks sitting in the barn.
It sounds like a lot of work, and even more planning. Too bad about the wood burning stove. Got a picture of it? Way to create an ambitious plan so quickly into your new home.
The first spawn or two can be duds. However, they should keep at it and viable eggs will surely be available.
Yeah, the eggs might have been there a day or two before I found them. I was checking them nightly but they didn't turn silver on me. Since this is this pairs first spawn, they may well have eaten them as well.
Expect the hatch to be around Day 7 or Day 8.
Unfortunately, as of this morning the eggs were gone. Either they ate the batch or already hatched (they didn't look very silver). Will try again with the next batch
Thanks all! It was originally bought as a mated pair. Unfortunately I lost the male soon after I purchased the pair. I was able to re-pair the fish with another juvenile ocellaris. The waterfall sound is mostly the camera. There is a little bit of a waterfall sound down there but to the extent that you hear in the video.
Did you buy a mated pair of clownfish or just wait for them to pair off?
Congratulations. Now tell us about the cascading waterfall sound we heard. Is that just the camera being finicky, or does it really sound like that?
My congrats to the new parents. Nice job. I'd have already lost my patience!
Thanks Workaholic! Lets see how they do. So far so good.
Nice find with the Idols, you're right they look super healthy and fat.
Thanks Hat! It's in a lot smaller space than you might think
Awesome job Mhowe!! Wish I had more space, lol just to have a bigger DT.
Thanks for the comments, hoping to have the breeding set up done soon
Wow, that's quite the operation there. Looks like it turned out well.
Ya tanks are looking good Mhowe! Can't wait to see how the breeder station comes out. ;-)
