Here's a little video of my new Tang. I really like the color and structure of the Atlantic Blue Tang. He'll do great in the tank (while he's still small.) He'll be my excuse to upgrade to a 120 some day in about a year or two. By the way, ignore the PJ cardinal in the tank everyone else does... There's a story behind him and I will have him until he dies because of it! Unlike a certain damsel fish (who will remain nameless,) as he picks on EVERYONE in the 20g tank... ...

Well after a weekend of work on the new tank here's my "Zoo-City" as I've dubbed it. I've places all my zoos in the same area of tank and I'm hoping for all of them to grow together into a mosaic of zoos over the next year. I wasn't going to move this much over this soon but the water quality was where I wanted to see it and everything is rocking and rolling so why not! Another ...
20k MH mounted over the tank now... I like enough I'm going to keep it - kind of. I'm going to drop down to a 14k and then add a couple 2' T5 actinics. I restacked the rock, much better now as I have some great ledges for coral (might not be clear in the picture.) I also have plenty of room for the rock from the old tank that I'll start moving over in a week or two.

I have my cheep lighting on just so I can get a true measure of clarity. I've scrapped the in tank refgu. I'm going to use a 5g above the tank that I'll get to at a later date. You can see all the temporary plumbing and filter sock that I'm using to clear the haze. ...
Not overly exciting, but you can see the true DIY nature of my work tank. This is my Tunze 9002 DOC skimmer from a good friend that will remain nameless. Thank you sir if you're reading this... It's gotten a lot of great reviews so I'm really expecting quite a bit out of it. Here's a full front shot of the tank and stand. It's totally DIY. I built it after my Vikings lost Sunday so I had lost some ...
