You might want to take a look over there. Its starting to be quite the collection.
FYI, as new content releases, it may appear on the front page or simply appear at the top of the page in a specific category. Currently, the best way to know if something is new is to subscribe to your friend's blogs. Alternately, go to the category (the list is in the left column) and select the theme. For example, In The News gets new additions as the information comes in. If you are aware of something newsworthy, send myself or Jessy a PM with the topic and we'll add it.
If they subscribe to the blog (not 'subscribe to the entry'), every new blog you post will result in an email notification to each subscriber. I subscribed to a few people and I get notifications from comments as well as the latest entry.
if someone says they are subscribed to my blog do they just get updates if update a current thread or if I start a new entry.

You may want to keep them in order by saying something like Blog 1, 2, 3....

ROFLMAO! +2
Please add a red planaria too.
It made me crack up too.
Hahahahah! Hilarious and GENIUS at the same time!
To Subscribe to a Blog, look on the right side of the screen. When subscribed, any replies will be emailed to you. You can subscribe to your own and anyone else's. Follow the progress of others easily. Each time you want to add more information about your reef, start a new blog. Each 'entry' will stand alone, allowing people to comment on it all by itself. If others want to see more of your blogs, by clicking on your username, they can select the "Blog" tab and read any or all entries made by you. As pointed out above, if they are assigned to category, it will allow users to find all entries pertaining to a single subject like plumbing, or electricity.
Yay! Avatars are now working!
thanks for the update, and tanks for all your time getting this site together for us fellow addicts
Update: Custom Avatars are enabled: Click Settings, then Edit Avatar to upload your own avatar. They display 60 x 60, so try to keep it simple so we can tell what it is. Email notifications are going out: Newly registered members confirmations; PM received; Blog subscriptions. If you have it selected, you'll be notified when someone interacts with your blog, or tries to contact you. Members Listing added to Navigation bar: This way you can find your online friends and add them. Whenever they post something new, you'll see it in the "My Friends' Activity" widget on the right side of the screen. If you don't add friends, that box will be boringly static. Keep it dynamic, add some buddies.
Thank you for the input. We are going to fix these issues and others on Sunday when Ed gets back home. He worked on the site for our Jan 1 rollout during his vacation!
I was wondering why i couldnt add an avitar, i feel lost without Mr scary face
Congrats on the launch! Some bugs:Links of categories on left side bar on main page links to dev-linuxweb01.4wmt.com.Clicking on search box at the upper right redirects to user settings, making it useless to search for anything. You can still do an advanced search however.Members don't have rights to create Groups of their own.Profile Picture is activated but not avatars. As you can see, members dont have pictures on their replies and when they join groups. Will add more if I see more.
