I'm so excited! I finished my rock work finally. I had to mortar four rocks together and it took me forever to get someone to come over who was willing to offer a hand to get the rocks in the tank with the acrylic rod. I drained the water from the water test a month ago and arranged the rocks in their final position. I added a 5 gallon bucket of sand to cover up the acrylic plate that the rod is threaded into. So I'm trying to think of the best way to hang my lighting over my tank. I have this sexy tank, and the only lighting I have for it is a 36 retrofit LED and I'll be getting a couple stunner strips to supplement. It seems a shame to build a traditional canopy for it. So I've concocted an idea for a floating canopy/pendant enclosure for it instead. I have been telling myself that I am NOT going to rush this set up.
