Looks Awesome Jake, I heard plumbing and such was going on today!!!
very impressive setup so far, cant wait to see the progress
Great looking wood work. Can't wait to see this one take shape!
Man I just keep coming back and looking over that set up. I think that is my dream office. For now, I guess I have to settle for an Ikea desk and setting up a cube at the end of it
I love all the pictures. It's like watching stop-motion video as I worked my way down the page. Congrats on your new project - a brand new system is oh-so-nice.
Very nice I am very jealous. Yes more pictures please.

I appreciate your feedback it means a lot coming from someone with mad design skills! I kind of like it!!! I will take some more photos when I have a moment. I just finished the entire basement. The tank and stand are part of an giant entertainment center with a built in desk. That is where I will put my new iMac so I can update my posts and manage the system since this aquarium system is going to be highly automated and monitored. Through the wall behind the aquarium is a dedicated sound proof sump-room! I will be taking more photos very soon!

I'd like to see some pictures of your maple stand, the one you mentioned in the 2006 section of your entry. Congrats on your new Leemar tank, I'm sure you'll love it. They make beautiful aquariums. Btw, a Mag 24 for a 90g tank is way overkill. It uses a ton of power, adds a lot of heat to the water, and doesn't help the system as a whole. Even with your new 300g, I wouldn't use that pump. A Mag 12 is a practical pump for mixing saltwater, for example. I can't even think of a reason to use the Mag 24. With the new tank, are you using an external pump like the Sequence Dart?
