Hello fellow addicts, I am down sizing my 90 corner to a 60 cube. I am almost done building the stand and canopy.
I am looking for some advice on how to transfer rock, live sand and fish into there new home with out the tank going into a cycle. I am planning on having some sps in the tank. I am using a radion gen 2 light with a mp40.
i believe the mp40 may be to strong for the cube but its only going to be a temp till I can get 2 mp10's.
I am concerned and hoping I don't stress ...

Ask if anyone is using ecotech radion light on there reef tank, if anyone is which light spectrum is working best for your reef tank?

I will be posting an update soon on my new 195 build but I am trying to battle algae and red slime algae for the last couple months.
I am asking this question because it seems my cheato macro algae isn't growing much. I can't seem to find online what a good lighting schedule is for it. Right now I am using t-5 18000 lights for the Refugium. Are these lights to strong and how lunch should I have them on for?

I test for nitrates and phosphates test kits from redsea.
My nitrates show that they are at 0.00 and the phosphate test I am not getting no chemical reaction in the test. Hair algae is starting to grow more. Can something else be causing it. I have a new rodi unit and do a water change every 2 weeks about 20%. What else can I do?

Before I commit to one of these. Apex or digital aquatics, which is better in your opinion?
