Hello! So I've been slacking! Blame it on work... ok let me bring you guys up to speed... The back of the tank was painted black. The sump was dropped in from the top of the stand. There is insulation inside the stand (the guy who built it suggested it) at first I thought it would not be a good idea turns out its a great idea keeps the water real cool and muffles the water/skimmer noise in the ...
So after crying for 3 days my husband found me a replacement tank . I It looks rough I know... but a good vinegar wash and elbow grease will fix that right up. It was water tested for 3 days so far so good! Its and Oceanic 210 gal tank 7x2x2 with ...
Hello! It's been a while and I can't stress how crazy busy work has been, any how lets get down to the nitty gritty. The 120 gal has been drained and moved out to the new owners house. My fish and corals are at a friends house awaiting the 265 gal set up. During this time my wonderful hubby decided it was time to get rid of the carpet. YAY! Finally we have been wanting this for over a yr. Timing couldn't ...

The 120 will have to be moved and the stand will have to be centered on the wall prior to dropping the sump into the stand. There's no way to push the stand without ...
Today I got to work on my sump. Fun times until I hit a snag... ugh... again. OK I don't have pics to post so I will need you guys to put on your imagination hats on. My sump is a 110 gal tank 6 feet long. My original plan was to place the external pump next to the sump making the total length of sump and dart pump about a little less than 7 feet. After measuring it all out it fits perfect inside the stand (without the plumbing parts). After trying to add all the plumbing it will not fit. ...
