It could probably use 3 or 4 coats, I only put on two, but from front side of the tank and the lights on you can't notice that its not as thick in certain areas. It looks great IMO. Installed the Quiet One and completely rid of the metal hose clamps. Thanks for the tip Melev.

Welcome to RA, and thanks for sharing your project with us. I know you were only testing out the Maxijet but don't use metal hose clamps under water. Get plastic hose clamps instead, really anywhere that you need one.
