  1. 125 gallon reef project update!

    hello i thought i would update everyone on my build progress.

    my sand came in today i ordered 75lbs of fiji pink from carib sea, yesterday i finished my plumbing up and i filled the closed loop intake line up with water to sorta leak test it so far so good we will find out for sure when its running. and right now my tank is being filled up with ro water it should be done some time tomorrow and ill start heating the water and testing the closed loop then ill get my salt mixed in. ...

  2. 125 gallon reef project

    hello fellow reef addicts, i though i would bring you up to speed on my current project.

    i purchased a 125g tank stand and hood used from a lfs i gave 350$ for it and its perfect no scratches and the back isn't tempered

    the plan for the tank was to drill it and install a glass holes 3000gph overflow build a custom sump and move my 40gb that is already drilled and a established reef tank over beside the 125 and run it off of the ...

  3. 112g reef tank build

    I recently picked up a 112 gallon oceanic tank. im going to build a custom stand and sump for it and im going to do my best to make this setup efficient and make it so that water changes and maintenance is easy.

    this is the general idea in theory i want to combine the 112 and my existing 40g breeder build together into one system. ill be building a 48" x18" x 16"tall sump to run both systems. the lighting will be led eventually but will be metal halide and t5 for now. ...
  4. 40 gallon reef tank build

    here were my original ideas for my build that i posted on my local reef club forum

    I have a 40 gal tank that i once had setup as a frag tank. I took the tank down and im going to drill and sump it and setup a reef tank.

    I already have some of the equipment to get started and i only need a few more things to get it started, here is what i have.
    40 gal breeder and stand (all sides un tempered)
    quad t5 with leds
    mega flow model 1 sump
    heater
    about 30-40 ...
