To be fair, my DA Reefkeeper 2(yes I mean Reefkeeper 2) was getting past its prime. One of the buttons didn't work right, and maybe it was time to upgrade. I love upgrading, hate paying for it.

We have a local club, but it's very meh. Basically it's reefcraigslist. And besides, Mom has done well before, and she's already taking care of the cats, who by the way do a terrible job reef-sitting.

I would love to start a separate club, but the act alone would be uber-offensive to the current club and I work at one of the areas lfs, so I can see it being some conflict of interests. But I would love to piss those dudes off haha.

Find a local store/restaurant for some monthly or every other month meetings and advertise on craigslist. Reef buddies give the best birthday presents too! ;-)

You can do it. I quit smoking 27 years ago, but I still drink 2 cups of coffee every morning and water the rest of the day.

Thanks for the support everyone! Yesterday I totally flipped out, so hopefully its smooth sailing from here. Gatorade has helped replace mountain dew, and gum is helping a little bit for cigarettes. But having people rooting for you always helps!

Get a Nespresso machine! Then take 2 cosis per day. You'll love it, great taste, will improve your mood and keep withdrawal syndrome away.

Drink a LOT of water, that will help you feel a little bit better.

I've heard that both nicotine and caffeine can cause withdraw headaches - never really had either one in my system so I wouldn't know (caffeine yes, but once in a grand great blue moon). I hope you make it man, both substances are mood altering, habit forming drugs that require serious dough to purchase on a daily basis. Just imagine how many corals you'll be able to buy with the money you save once you kick both habits. Water is cheap, cigarretts and coffee/soda rack up the bills! Good luck man!!
