tanks on the blonde are nice also
ATM does awesome work for sure. Lol, I asked my wife if we can have one like this... Haha... She didn't even answer. Darn, I'll take that as a "No".
they're out of Las Vegas. The owner of the LFS that I work at actually was on the phone with these guys the other day as they are looking to expand over to the east coast (DC). So we're getting a custom tank look-down frag tank sometime soon
Looks very cool. Also... they've either out of Dallas or done work in Dallas. I recognize some of the tanks in their footage! :-)
That would make a really nice zoa/paly garden with one of my extra PAR38 bulbs I have....hahahah Very nice.
I love it, that'd be a fun species tank plumbed into your main one (or mine! lol)
Cool little tank ya built Lonnie! Nice bends!
sorry to hear about the clown
Marc, the video that is posted above is old (before I moved and relocated the tank). The tank did have an overflow flow box that lead to another 100 to 150 gallons of sump and was hooked into my old breeding set up. I also got rid of the tangs when I relocated it.
You have a lot of fish in there. I was wondering about the tank size. Not drilled, to boot!
That was in a standard 180G
Mike, what size tank is that?
I hadn't heard anyone raising chromis either. The larvae are a lot smaller than clown larvae and much for difficult to raise. I check the MBI site and no one has been successful in raising them on there. I have a had a trio that spawns frequently, however, the eggs are tiny and I have been able to find them in my display tank. Here is a video that I captured during one of the spawnings.
Looks like you may have a chance to be a pioneer on this one
That's a new one for me as well. I've never read about anyone raising Chromis before.
Man that is one ugly worm... here is one from my tank, about 1/8" diameter undetermined length!
Hello has the male taken on a color change cant really tell on my laptop. One of our LFS has a breeding program and the male chromis gets all yellow down the sides and belly when it time to dance.Called them this morning about another issue and they said the chromies are just like clown fry start them on rotifers and any that make the 2 week mark are usually a success .keep up the good work could be some LFS credit in it for you.Have you raised any of your clown fry yet.We had a clown fish hatching on Tuesday night to bad i was sick and not really prepared Happy tanks to ya
Nice, congrats. I wonder how hard the fry are to raise, I havent heard much about rearing chromis.
Glad to hear the id's are all the same, I figured it was but it wasn't red like the little ones. Oh well, in the garbage can now. No way I was gonna have that roaming the tank!
OMG that is one chubby bristleworm
