  1. Is my ocellaris ready to spawn? or does it just hate me?

So lately my female ocellaris has developed a renowned aggression towards my hand (she shows no agression towards any other inhabitant of the tank and even ignores the yellow tail damsel that tries to pick a fight with her.) Not only will she swim clear across my 75 gallon as fast as she can to attack me she now will even jump out of the water at my hand during feeding, maintenance, cleaning before I have even stuck my hand in the tank!
The male used to attack me but never to this extent, ...

  3. after about an hour....

Finally got all my ordered parts in the mail today and went straight to the hardware store to pick up all the pvc and tubing I would need for my closed loop system and after about an hour of installation got it all installed and now I wish my tank was in wall cause this is a pain to get behind my tank and back out for maintenance. so now I am running a mag 1200 in a closed loop with a scwd and so far so good, getting great flow compared to before (i had to cover my korelia 4's so my anemone didn't ...

  4. Just Go In Already!

well I seem to have some interesting things transpiring in my tank, first off my female ocellaris seems to be hanging out near the Rose BTA, which might I add is on the opposite side of the tank from her beloved zoos but what makes this a little more interesting to watch is that the BTA is in an area that the yellow tail damsel has called home for quite some time, they have been together for a long time and do not fight (in fact when they were younger they used to school together) but they seem ...

  5. Just a little about my setup

Well, I guess since this is my first entry I will tell a little about my tank. I started saltwater with a nano tank I acquired from a friend a little over a year and a half ago, it didn't take long to cycle since it was still used when i got a hold of it just far out of parameters. after about a two month cycling process I added a small CUC and a yellow tail damsel. One week later my first coral was added, a frag of green star polyps about the size of the tip of my pinkie finger, it had begun! soon ...
