My lfs owner called me today and said he would have a mandarin setosa coming in today. I googled this coral to try and get a better understanding of the placement and care needs. It looks to have a really strong orange/red color and it's seems to have guidelines for care like other montipora, but I was wondering if any of y'all have this coral & if so where is it's placement in u're tank w/ reguards to flow & lighting.
Hello guys. I've been recently considering a possible upgrade to the EcoTech series of controller(s) powerhead. I really don"t know very much a/b these units, at all. I have a 46 gallon tall reef tank and i was wondering what size of the EcoTech units i would need and the benefits of a wireless driver or not? I will one day, have a larger tank, nothing larger than 90 gallons, and would like the EcoTech that could transfer to that tank. I've seen alot of u're tank pics, on here, have these EcoTech ...
Hey guys. I just replaced my TFC and charcoal filters on my Coral Life unit and now i can't get any flow from my blue discharge tube. This is the 1st time i've change the membrane on this unit. I remember when it was new i had a little prob like this then too. I ran the unit a/b 1.5 hrs last nt, and then switched the tubes and flushed the system for 30 min and still cannot get any flow. Pretty desperate for some water, guess I'm gonna have to go to grocery store and buy gallons of water, any brand ...
I'm thinking a/b setting up a PhosBan 150 reactor below my tank, mounting it on the wall of my stand. I have a taller reef tank 46 gallon, I don't have a fuge just a very large HOB skimmer, which takes up alot of room on the bk of my tank. Looking @ what other people use as a pump for these reactors it seems like the 400 maxi-jet is very popular. I just don't think it's strong enough being it will be almost 2.5-3 ft from lid of tank to where the reactor will be put and another 2.5-3 ft bk up for ...
