Questions - Need some input

I have been testing my Calcium and Alkalinity levels recently and the numbers just did not sit right with me. So I purchased an Elos Magnesium test kit so I could check my Magnesium level as that is where I believe the culprit lies. Sure enough my Magnesium level was 1200ppm which is about 150ppm below where I would like it to be. So I purchased from Brightwell Aquatics Magnesion-P Magnesium Supplement that I could mix myself and dose into my aquarium.

I have run into my first major issue with my reef aquarium. I built my LED Lighting System myself. It consist of 4 independent Meanwell LPC-5-700W Drivers each with 6 LED's (three Cree XP-G R5 Cool White LED's & three Cree XP-E Royal Blue LED's) for a total of 24 LED's with 40 degree reflectors. Okay so I am at the stage where I would like to add a dosing unit on my aquarium to automate the addition of Zooplankton, Phytoplankton, Magnesium and Kalkwasser (seperate it from the auto top off unit currently in place) and also to control the effluent from my Calcium reactor. Price is not too much of a factor and I have been thinking about two dosing units in particular. What are everyone thoughts?

I was hoping someone could confirm whether or not the Atman PH-2000 Needle Wheel Pump on the Bubbles Magus NAC-5E Protein Skimmer can be used inside of water? This Protein Skimmer was designed to be used inside of the aquarium but because of the space restrictions on my new aquarium design I need to place it standing inside the sump. I would like to know for certain before I do this. If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated.
