It has been 3 weeks since I filled the tank with water so I thought I would give an update. I have had no issue with the tank itself. There are 2 MP10's for flow. I have a Avast Marine calcium reactor kit, Avast Marine biopellet reactor kit both with Sicce Syncra 1.0 pumps and a TLF 150 reactor. The return pump is a Sicce Syncra 3.0. I mentioned the leak detect float switches in my last blog. So I figured I would post so information on them here. In the first photo is one bracket assembles and the parts for the second bracket. The second photo has the marks used to drill the hole for the float switch on the small part and the holes for the mounting screws on the long part. For this I used a combination square. I ran a leak simulation this weekend. I actually ran my Drinking water RO output to the tank and let it run down the outside of the tank to simulate an overfill, splash down the side or a leak at the seam of the tank. I let it run until the leak detection float switch was tripped. I only had a little puddle on the bottom outer frame at one of the side doors and a trickle in the front electronics compartmant where the conduit enters. The first few photo's are of the stand during the build. You can see the 2 PVC conduits that will have the wiring that runs from the front to back of the stand. There are 2 sets of hangers that are mounted between the 2 conduits. The return manifold is mounted to the hanger between the 2 conduits. The first 3 photo's are of a completed side panel for the stand. A panel was added to the back of the doors to help protect the raised panel door from water and salt spray. These panels have the same rubber coating that is on the stand and they are painted white. The side doors are all the same except for the direction the door swings. There are 2 side panels on each side. There is also 2 covers to protect the hinge assembly when the door is closed attached to the side panel. When I had this running ...
