I have questions that need answers.
So, I'm beginning this blog entry before I upload my pictures. A few days ago I wrote up a blog entry showing a picture that made me think my tank had microbubbles in it. To date it appears better to me, but for comparison's sake I took a few pictures of the tank last night. In one picture the scenario is comparable to the scenario under which the picture from my other post was taken. In the other I have turned off the protein skimmer and then actually shut off the return (for those unfamiliar ...
So I believe I have microbubbles getting into the main tank. I was looking at the water in my skimmer section today and noticed that it had a decent amount of froth on the water's surface (nothing spectacular just some definite buildup of frothy sections). Then I looked at the bioball section thinking that ...
Hey guys, As promised in my most recent post, I am posting some videos of the water test I did today. I have to go to a meeting in a few minutes and my YouTube videos are uploading as we speak so I will add the very first one for now. In all there are four parts about 3 minutes long per piece. To give a bit more background, I am planning to place the MP10s on the tank's sidewalls. That's why I was thinking I could get away with using two MP10s and then just syncing them to be alternately on and off. Any suggestions? Should I use two MP40s instead? One MP40? As guidance, I would ...
