So I set up a 5 gallon fugue for my 75 display. I ran two siphons with quarter inch tubing from my display to the fugue then the fugue to he sump. Does running it to my sump defeat the the whole point? That and does the same size tubing from the display tonthe fugue then from the fugue mean that the water level will remain level? Thanks Jon.
So the 75 is making progress. Here are the details. Amonia. 2.4 eek. Salinity 1.028 ugh Ph. 8.3 haven't had a chance to clock the swing. That will happen tom I'll be home all day. Calcium. 480 Nitrite. .01 Phosphates. .25 Iron. .01 I dosed a double dose of ammonia down. After 3 days of single dozing. I'm using sachem prime water conditioner. It continues to drop slowly. I'm gonna do a water change tom. Only thing is my return ...

so i got the 75 running today. as you all know this hobby is about tinkering and spending way too much money and time on your tank. i woke up at 11 and completely re did my tank. im talking completely. modified my sump. re did all the plumming. i broke a bulkhead and bought a vortec mp20 which i highly recommend to anyone. that thing can move water. ive never seen one in person and the unit is much larger than i had imagined but it is nothing compared to the amount of koralias you would need ...

After weeks of planning and waiting vie finally got a 75 gallon deep demesion setup at my home. I got an incredible deal on craigslist, pretty much everything you need including 3 metal halides for 400 beans. Sold. So I get everything I need set up in the new location save the tank.
