Tank - Full Summary

Basic full overview of the system

  1. May 1st - Full Tank Shots. My Tank is 90 days old - Whoo Hoo!

Only 90 Days old and I've had a 29 gallon sump crack/leak, replaced that with a 40 gallon Breeder for a sump, Built a new Stand and Swapped the old stand out with the new stand. So far, it appears that I only lost 1 Turbo Snail. ( He stunk when I pulled him out of the QT tank, so, maybe it was his time.) Otherwise, All my fins and corals appear to have made it through the ordeal of the past 2 weeks.

Here they are. The cleanup crew I added several weeks ago is making good work of keeping the film algae down and I added several snails to the fuge and the glass walls are now viewable (mostly) and the pod population there is intact.

    To recap, here's my setup
Building a Reef with a 120 Gallon tank. So far, my empty tank looks like this: 29 Gallon sump/fuge, a rio 3100 return via a diy Weir/overflow with 1 inch drain. The return runs ...
