  1. Water, Rocks and cycling a tank. 120 tank Build

    Hello All,

    Am getting 75+ lbs of marco rock tomorrow, and so, I'm really close on beginning to cycle the tank, can some one review these working steps I made and see if I've covered my bases correctly or perhaps could change the order, if something is not right.

    To recap, here's my setup
    Building a Reef with a 120 Gallon tank. So far, my empty tank looks like this: 29 Gallon sump/fuge, a rio 3100 return via a diy Weir/overflow with 1 inch drain. The return runs ...

  3. Plumbing Store Online???

    Hello all,

    Whats your favorite Plumbing Store(s) online? Am looking to find 3/4 or 1 inch Barbed connector to a Union , and or a Ball valve or other valve assembly.

  4. Quarantine Tank - 16 Gal. Bow Front - Cycling and Salt Question

    Hello All,

    My weekend project was to build a Quarantine Tank and start it cycling. I built the cabinet from scratch wood leftovers and the tank used to be a red ear slider Turtle tank. All in all I'm impressed that it's straight and level... lol.

    Now, I've read a lot about the various ways to cycle a tank and was wondering if anyone has ever tried the dead shrimp into the tank as a biological medium to start the cycle on its way?

    And what is the relationship ...

  5. Big Mail Day today,

    I received my AquaC Remora Pro Skimmer, my Hydrometer and a S/W test Kit today via USPS and UPS, Whoo Hoo!!! Now just missing Return Pump, and rock.. Both are next on the list.

    Here's a Pix of the Remora installed into the Sump on the Lefthand Side.
