Here they are. The cleanup crew I added several weeks ago is making good work of keeping the film algae down and I added several snails to the fuge and the glass walls are now viewable (mostly) and the pod population there is intact.
Whats the overall consensus on cleaning the walls of a refugium??? While my tank is a little over 3 months old, I have some alga growing on the walls and over the divider into the center return section. I saw pix of Marc's refugium per the review of the Refugium LED Lighting system and it's crystal clear. on mine, I've noticed that in amoungst the algae thats growing on the sides, are pods and little creatures. I know that in the freshwater aquarium hobby, that F/W Ick is white spots all over the body of a fish (if memory serves me correct.. been a long time since I faced that ordeal in a tank.) I've noticed that my Hippo Tang has what looks like scratches only on one side of it's body. In the photo's it showing up mottled, but the other side of him is clean and looks good. I've noticed now for the second time that one of my 2 clowns has a dark spot on it. The 1st time I noticed it, I believe that it disappeared on it's own. I've only had these 2 clowns for about a month now and was wondering if anyone else is has ever seen spots on clowns....( No, it's not a "funny" lol.... ) Although, I do sometimes hear circus music in the background...
