I just realized, rather saw that the last post was back in July. Well a number of things got in the way of progress. Eventually completed the house remodel, managed to through my daughter an engagement party, traveled overseas for a ten day vacation, got back and tented the house for termites. Picked up the tank and got it into place.

The other day I saved a blog as a draft,how do I post it as I don't see any options for this.Or did I just miss something.

I am getting set up to receive my new tank,which will go on a metal stand. Should I use that white insulation stuff under the tank to take up any gaps. I also plan on using a piece of plywood on top of the stand. The pic of the stand shows how versatile it is as it is upside down.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong.I have been trying to add more pics to this blog.I keep getting an error message that wont allow the image to post. I think the first pic was beginners luck.

I think I finally have something to say,hopefully pics will follow soon.The new tank project has started.It will be a Cadlights starfire tank 96x36x30 if the tank volume calculators are correct it is about 450 gallons.This will replace a 200 gallon acrylic nightmare,the coraline grows so fast in my tank that to keep it clean takes way too much effort. A while back I was unable to move as I put my back out so the tank suffered and now to get some of this stuff off is like breaking rocks.The 200 is ...
