That did look like a lot of fun. What size tank is that?

I found the problem, there is a box about half way down that gives you the option to publish now and a few others. That allows you to make the post.

Click on Create Blog. The draft(s) will appear above the editor. Click the one you want to open, edit any new additional information and/or make changes, and then submit it, unless you want to save the draft again for a later release.

Anything to keep that warranty! I would do as Marc suggests only because Murphy is waiting, and watching.

Let me know if you continue to have problems.

Definitely find out from the tank builder. If your tank has plastic trim that creates a sizeable gap underneath, usually you won't use foam. The sheet of plywood is key, and if you want to keep it in place use double-stick tape.

If the tank has minimal trim or none at all, use the dense foam sold at Home Depot (Pink Panther brand) or Lowes (light blue). 3/4" foam is good, and the white stuff will crush under the weight.

Most importantly: Do what the tank builder recommends.

When Marineland was asked that question they said no, have you asked the specific tank manufacturer? They would be the best to ask because of their warranty. I see you are getting this blog thing figured out.

Ivan, I will try to give you the nitty gritty low down.

When you have a new idea or event or update to give us, this is when you want to create a new blog entry. This will allow everyone to see the NEW entry at the top of the list of blogs. When you reply to a old blog only the subscribed users will see the updates to the blog and others are likely not to notice the new info available.

Each new blog should have a unique title which I believe will allow the site search engine to function better. Also categorizing entries allow the site to group entries by related subjects. The TAG field for the blog is what is used by external search engines to give results from searches like GOOGLE.

As far as pictures go I think the easiest for most users is to upload their pics to Photobucket.com and then copy the link/picture url by right clicking. Then paste this in the add picture box. I like to un-check the little box so that a full size picture is inserted into the blog, otherwise you get small pics that people have to click on to enlarge. This is annoying for lazy readers like me and others.

Blogs can be confusing for forum peeps as they are st up differently. We probably need a BLOGGING for DUMMIES how to article on the header of the site to help out new users. Feel free to ask more questions by creating a new blog so that others will see and learn.

Ok here is another question. To add to this blog Midnight said to create a new blog entry, does that become a continuation of this blog or does it depend on the title line. As you can see I posted about adding a pic. When I went to create blog I got an error message. When I posted from comment section it posted, I am just a little confused.

That's great, now remember to create a new blog entry when you are ready to share more/new info with us.

The pictures need to be hosted somewhere, meaning on your profile page here or through a site like photobucket. Once they are hosted you copy the URL and click add picture in the blog entry and paste address in. whaa la
