You can pour it through a fine brine shrimp net or put it in a cup with holes over another cup, using tank water or RO water as a rinse. I've never done that.

ive heard about "rinsing" the frozen food before adding it to a QT tank how do u do that? Do you just melt it and pour it in a net under ur faucet or something???

If you arrive on Friday you'll want a hotel room for the night. I'd imagine on Saturday you'll want to head home with any new frags in a cooler. The event usually wraps up by 5pm with most clubs, so you'd be home by 9pm at the latest. I'm sure they are taking out the speakers for dinner both nights, but I don't know more specifics. You could follow that link in my blog and ask them directly.

I think I will be attending. Is there any thing planned for Friday or Saturday night in Atlanta? Should I get a hotel for either night?

Damn, I will be just three hours north of Atlanta in the mountains of North Carolina. I don't think my wife will let me go, but we'll see.

That would be pretty neat to find, but I have a feeling it'll be a while before I see something big enough to notice. Hopefully it won't resemble an aiptasia.

Awesome! Be looking for little colonies popping up around the tank.

I'm still in Alaska (technically that's part of the Continental US). And they guy I gave my 55 to last year just asked if I want it back.

As you can tell, I must feed the suncorals heavily to get that much valonia.

Wow, how exciting! Aren't you proud?

If memory serves me, sun corals brood their larva for a while before releasing them, so we are looking at larva, which is why they are so big.

Kool eggs do you think any will make it? I didn't realize people are using valonia for filtration?

Are you here in the continental U.S. now? And yes, you are quite right.

Pretty good. Looks like I'll be gainfully employed again shortly. Debating whether or not I should start an aquarium again or not.

I love all those beautiful pseudocromis, but in the small tanks I'm limited to I'm afraid of agression.

Thanks Phil. How've you been? I have three Fridmanis in this system.

Awesome pictures as usual Marc. I love Flame Angels. Unfortunately I had to get rid of mine when he developed a taste for SPS polyps. Love that Fridmani too.
