While traveling, the reef is automated for the most part, although I do have someone check on the tank daily just to make sure everything is working as it should. Since getting back, I've been sick sick sick. Taking medication has made me sleepy, and I've not had the desire to lift a finger for the past six days, other than to add some thawed fishfood to the reef before the lights shut off for the night.

For the past few years, I've been evolving from a hobbyist to a vendor in this industry. It's a tough transition for a few reasons, but at my heart I continue to be a hobbyist to the core.
