As I reported not to long ago, my Skimmer Swabbie's squeegee bracket broke. I received a new one in the mail on Saturday, but it didn't match what I've had all this time. I did have to trim off the excess rubber at each end, because otherwise it would have been too tall. The groved section of the bracket is longer than ...
I was playing in Lightroom for a few minutes yesterday, and figured I'd really manipulate the heck out of this one picture. It's pretty amazing how something can be cleaned up, especially if you are good at this (doing it for a living). Me, I just wanted to demonstrate the difference between what came off the SD card vs. what the final result could be. I'll show you the better image first. You can see this Frogspawn coral without annoying distractions. I used a tool to black out all ...

It was plagued with cyano that refused to go away, to the point that I was ready to write it off. When it was down to less than 20% life, it suddenly decided to reverse course and heal. It took nearly a year to fully recover to the point you couldn't tell it ever looked bad. When the tank leaked a year ...
