I got home a couple of hours ago, and just realized that I left my netbook on the plane. When they told us to power down our laptops in anticipation of landing, I did and put it in the seat pocket. And totally forgot to take it! I'm shocked - this is SOOO unlike me. During the flight, I wrote the entire article about RAP to post tonight, and of course all of my presentations were on it as well. If you have an iPhone, show off your addiction. Jessy created a very nice one tonight for my background. The easiest way to get it on the phone is to email it to the account linked to your phone, then save it to Camera Roll. Find the image, click on the arrow button (as if you wanted to email it to someone) and Set As Wallpaper.

I think we almost died on this flight. It was the worst scare I've had on a plane ever. Landed a few minutes ago and have to catch a connecting flight in 1.5 hours.

After a momentary freefall, the captain never addressed the passengers for the final 15 mins of our flight. My guess is some thing broke and the flight crew had their hands full for the rest of the flight.

Even on the runway, he never came on the mic. Since the oxygen masks didn't fall, I guess it wasn't ...

With the tank close to empty (still have to get out all of the sand and the last of the water, including in the overflows), I'm thinking about what to do next.

Wes is pushing for a huge upgrade. LOL It's always easier to get someone else to upgrade, after all. A bigger tank could be nice, but I know what the workload was for the 280g and have no reason to think it would be a minor adjustment for a bigger one.
