I think the Dart moves a little less water by comparison, but I'm not worried about that. All I want is consistency and reliability. This pump is WAY out of warranty since it was purchased years ago, but this is when it finally went into service.
Great pump. Mine is going on 6yrs strong!
Are you going to bury it in the back yard like a pet? Sorry, I'm feeling a bit silly tonight.... Does the dart flow as much as the little giant? Are you replacing with the same pump?
Impressive.
RIP to a valiant warrior!
I haven't had any new corals to dip yet. Not even the kind that talk.
Have you had a chance to try this yet? I was looking for a new dip and this seems to be my next choice.
It was out for 3.5 hours tonight, but I was able to relax and watch some tv while I waited for the power to be restored.
my power rarely goes off but... i ordered a 7500 watt generator just today. Gotta be ready.
storms get the best of you?
He has a back up in case it does.
Make sure that generator doesn't fail!

Marc, Finally tracked you down. I'm sorry to hear that you are still having trouble with your back. Your tank still looks fantastic. I wanted to know what you were doing to fight the cyno issues you mentioned that is common with DOC (vodka dosing). If you ever want to take a trip up to Ontario, rest assured you will have a place to stay and many tanks to visit. Where might i find the most up to date info on your tank including size, filtration methods, equipment list, dosing schedules? Its been a while and i have been reading soo many thread that they are all starting to blur together Thanks Rob
It will probably go to a club member, as the RBTA takes up a lot of space in my angled tank. Plus I have a green one with orange tips with my name on it that I hope to put in wit h the RBTA to balance out the color in that tank a bit.
Sorry to hear you're still struggling with your back Marc. so what are you plannign to do with the BTA after removal? house it in the angled tank or take it out?
marc, sorry it had been a few days. River Birch seem to just have that flaky bark at all times of the year, they are mostly an ornamental tree and aren't frequently seen as large as the one in your photos unless in the secluded woods. The flakes on their bark grow to larger pieces as the age and as the tree grows. They don't really fall off that easily unless pulled on or just naturally some pieces will come off. They are a pretty neat little tree. kinda funny that i'm talking this much bout a tree on a reef blog. nice photos though man
Lol...that was cute And..I need some!
Wow, maybe that would be a positive addition to my cuc. Looks menacing for sure.
this tank blows my mind i want a mp 40 so bad i cant believe you have 3 anyone looking to sell one? hahahha
