Over the weekend, I flew out to speak to the Chesapeake Marine Aquaria Society, www.cmas-md.org . It was a lively group, and gave me the perfect opportunity to try out my new camera gear in earnest. I got this coral in the past, and thought it was pretty neat. It's in the favia family, somewhat like the "war" coral people want. However, this one is far more shaggy. Check out the polyps on this one, which I got a few months ago. This one is down on the substrate under a 400w Radium bulb, 42" from the bulb.
While I was at MAX last weekend, I picked up a new camera. It's a Nikon D90 with a very nice Nikon 105mm Macro lens.
