After about a week of researching and thinking and reading some more I decided to try building a "zapper". I don't have any pest anemones but I've been looking for away to remove stray mushrooms without pulling the rock and chiseling them off. Having recently found my self suddenly and unexpectedly unemployed, I have too much time on my hands. While it's been great for my clean up efforts, it also allows me way too much time to invent, reinvent and experiment. I love to experiment and DIY different little ideas. In my few years with my tank I have had a few pests and problems. I've had my share of cyano warfare and diatoms. Of them all there are two that have caused me the most grief. Two little critters that make me crazy. Two little things I've have battled for too long. So long that I nearly gave up entirely. The first is the worst! Hello Addicts Gozer here to introduce my self and what I'm doing here. I've been in the reef hobby for about 4 years... I think. I have a 75 gallon tank with about 100 in the system.
