So i am on my way downtown Connecticut today to pick up a 400g tank and my previous biggest tank was 125 so i need some recommendations on Skimmers, pumps, calcium reactors, Bio pellet reactors etc for a tank this size...... its 72x36x36 fyi.
Hey so I have a question I need some help with regarding floor support for a second story tank. I am curious peoples thoughts on max size of a tank that can be kept on a conventional framed floor. I've been wicked busy lately so I havent been able to work on the LED pendant much. But the last couple days i made some progress so here are a couple pics and a video! Here is a prototype cap for the fixture. Im using an eye hook and 1/16" cable to hang the pendant. Here are a couple of pics of the paint job I did today. This is the housing paint job and the hasps I painted as well. Shot of the business end painted. So i still have to finish the end where the hanger and the cords are attached. I am not real confident in the paint job. I feel like it will scratch very easily. Wondering if I could spray some polyacrylic or something on as a topcoat.... maybe even clearcoat ...
