  1. 216 watt t5's enough?

Well life once again is hindering progress on getting my equipment and I had to replace the dryer so I lost some funds for my lighting. I was looking at getting two 24" MH/T5 lights for $200. But now due to funds im looking at a single 48" t5 set up that has 4x 54w T5 bulbs, two 12000k and two actinic bulbs. Will this be enough light to start with some beginner softies and fish? Should i buy one 24" MH/t5 combo for now and just light half of the tank until I can afford the 2nd ...

Ok so I havent been doing anything with my salt water build. Life got in the way and with a possible move decided i didnt want to get a tank up to just tear it down. Now the move has been put off for a few years so I want to get it up and running.

The ovals will be shelf's to attach corals to, figuring about 2" out from the wall. The squares will ...

  4. overflow part 1 is done....Faileld miserably and now im not setting up my tank :(

Well I got the final piece of the overflow siliconed and let it cure for a few days. Water tested and I think it leaked more than it held...ok not really but there are some places I have to redo.

But I was informed by my future wife that she wants to move by the end of next year. Considering I didnt plan to have this thing set up till at least march of next year seems kinda poiintless to set it up get it cycled etc and then turn around and move it 9 months later.

  5. 55 gallon sw build update

Well I ordered my SW test kit and the agua lifter pump Melev recommended for my overflow. I put the other side on the overflow and am waiting for it to cure for a day or two and will water test it.

Was going to order my 4x54 watt T5 fixture this weekend but a bad battery in my car took the funds so its gonna have to wait.

Its moving a lot slower than I wanted but life and money are interfering
