Tank Entry

hey everyone, just a quick update, the new tank has been setup for just about a month now and everything is looking great! i have not been checking NO3 NO2 or NH3 i can sort of tell where things are at just by looking at the tank, but i have my Mg ALK and Ca all in check and my pH is abnormally perfect 8.2day and 8.0night. the initail hair algea bloom is just about over and the cyano bloom is also begining to fade away with less and less each day, just 2 small spots left.

ive basicly summarized how the moving process will work, ive done this mostly for my piece of mind but ive decided to post it here so that fellow reef addicts and possibly offer ideas or advice

Prep

• 2 buckets of fresh SW mixed (just in case I need more)
• 50lbs of Precured Marco rocks
• All dry goods in totes ready to go
• 3 Styrofoam boxes for livestock
• 60 large ziplocks + lots of specimen jars
• Sheets of Styrofoam

Packing – this will start about 6am Saturday morning ...

sorry i havent been too active here latley, with the upcomong move ive been trying to get all the hours i can at work, and i havent really been doing anything to the tank, i just got a couple new chalice frags thats about it.

the good news is 1month after ordering, i finally receved my overflow box!! because it took so long i was able to get it for free! i installed it wednesay morning, im now water testing the tank! aslong as everything goes good i will drill ...

My new tank came in earlier in the week! You can tell much more care was taken when building it! Unfortunately, I did not get to keep the other tank to use as a sump

Today I gathered up all my frags I really did not want and took them to the LFS, I picked up some frozen food, cash and a frag of an unknown sps that is a yellow green (more yellow)
